Artificial intelligence
The intelligence demonstrated by machines is known as artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence makes it possible for machines to learn from experience, adjust to new inputs and perform human-like tasks. Using these, machines can be designed to accomplish different tasks in different fields. Email filters, digital calls, data analysis are all examples of NLP. Artificial intelligence is mainly based on six things-
- Natural language processing: Natural language processing helps computers communicate with humans in their own language and scales other language-related tasks.
- Deep learning: Deep Learning is a subfield of machine learning concerned with algorithms inspired by the structure and function of the brain called artificial neural networks.
3. Neural networks: An artificial neural network is a piece of computing system designed in a similar way the human brain cells function.
4. Computer vision: Computer vision is a field of artificial intelligence that trains computers to interpret and understand the visual world. Machines can accurately identify and locate objects then react to what they “see” using digital images from cameras, videos, and deep learning models.
5.Cognitive computing: cognitive computing is to simulate human thought processes in a computerized model. Using self-learning algorithms that use data mining, pattern recognition and, natural language processing, the computer can mimic the way the human brain works.
6.Machine learning: Machine learning is a branch of artificial intelligence and computer science that focuses on the use of data and algorithms to imitate the way that humans learn, gradually improving its accuracy.
TYPES OF AI
- Weak AI — also called Narrow AI or Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI): Narrow AI systems are good at performing a single task and they might even outperform humans in that single task but if they are given a situation that falls out of their area of expertise, they fail. Some examples of ANI are- Siri by Apple, Alexa by Amazon, etc.
- Artificial General Intelligence (AGI): It is a type of AI that has a human level of cognitive function. An AGI system could perform any task that a human is capable of. Some examples of AGI are- self-driving cars, IBM’s Watson supercomputer, etc.
3. Artificial superintelligence (ASI): It is a type of AI that will surpass human intelligence, this will include decision making, building emotional relationships, and much more.
How is AI used
Let us understand this by taking an example of any streaming site, they simply use the past user data to recommend what you can watch next and this benefits them as their site gets more watch time. Instagram gives you suggestions as soon as you put your desired search or even tags.

PURPOSE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

From a general perspective, AI has the power to wipe the existence of hard labor and help in connecting the complex interconnected web between countries which would benefit everyone and much more.
